Rolla Public Schools’ early childhood program is slated to expand from half-day classes serving 162 children to full-day classes serving approximately 350 children, thanks in part to the purchase and move to the former Columbia College building.

Literacy Training Program Will Get Start in Phelps County

Phelps County’s five school districts will be part of a pilot program beginning this fall that aims to train literacy coaches and 50 kindergarten and first grade teachers in those districts, Phelps County Community Foundation announced in a press release today.

"Our foundation focuses on enhancing the lives of people and families in Phelps County. This is accomplished by collaborating, pooling resources, and raising funds. We recognize challenges, not failures, and strive to address unmet needs. Serving as a unifying force, we amplify the collective impact for a healthier, safer, and more prosperous community." -PCCF Leadership
