Several opportunities to get involved in our philanthropic mission are available. Join one of our steering committees to share your expertise in a specific area. County-wide unbiased data is collected and analyzed by Missouri S&T as well as results of a community survey. These are combined to create the meat of the Phelps County Focus Report, which highlights blue and red flags in our community; areas where the community is prospering and areas that need assistance. After reviewing the red flag data, projects and initiatives are chosen for funding.

The Phelps County Community Foundation is a fund established through Meramec Regional Community Foundation (MRCF). MRCF is a 501 C 3 organization, and all donations to the Phelps County Community Foundation will be tax deductible and utilized for charitable purposes within Phelps County. MRCF is under the umbrella of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks. The Phelps County Community Foundation is an affiliate foundation of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.
